Hydrodiesel have just completed the total refurbishment of a containerised FIREPAK 1500 back to “as new” condition, for a major International Chemicals company.
The FIREPAK 1500 was originally manufactured by Hydrodiesel in 1997 and installed at a site in South Wales, UK, up until the closure of the site at the end of 2004. The pump was then de commissioned and transferred to another UK location for storage and use on a future project.
This high capacity diesel driven fire pump was re-commissioned in March 2015 and will primarily be used for the protection of Methanol storage tanks, as well as providing additional capacity to boost firefighting capability around the entire site.
